Fibreglass Boats Vs Aluminium Boats

  1. Okay but people talking about scratches as well like scraping along concrete, that shows if u smashed on rocks i guess correct me if im wrong.
okay i guess there is an advantage of not having your day spoiled by not having a hammer some sheet metal and a welder. but which over all would be cheaper to repair properly., also not everyone can afford Fibreglass and also............You are fucked if your engine catches on fire and you don't put it out in time especially electrical faults at sea that you don't know about probably low risk but something to consider. You will be over board in hurry because fibreglass contains petrolium and your boat will go up quick.

  2. good point mate, i agree. i would say that aluminum would be much cheaper to repair than fiber glass even if it takes longer because of the cost of materials. and yes fiberglass boats do give you better bang for your buck!!
